The sculpture "GODZILLA VS. KING GHIDORAH" was created by Ryuichi Ohira for the Godzilla 70th Anniversary "GODZILLA THE ART Exhibition” (April 26 – June 29, 2025, Mori Arts Center Gallery). The mold was carved from wood, with its intricate and delicate form sculpted from a single block, using only a chainsaw. The wings are the only exception. King Ghidorah’s golden body is expressed through the metallic luster of cast brass.　 This exhibition reunites 14 artists who participated in “GODZILLA THE ART by PARCO vol.4,” curated by NANZUKA and held at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO (Shibuya PARCO 4F) in 2024. Each artist presents their personal feelings toward the Godzilla series, expressing them through their own unique methods, media, and scales.
